TTW - The Belgardian Revolution of 1106

Outcome: The Ruby Costa boarding squad played an important role in the recent Belgardian coup d'etat, led by CMDR Aurimas Rumsa. They assaulted the BNV Istvan, seizing the bridge and engineering in the face of fierce resistance from the BSI security team aboard the vessel. Once it was taken over, the rest of the coup played out on the planet below. Within a day or two, the new government was secured, the boarding team was recovered, and terms had been agreed upon. President-Commander Aurimas Rumsa of the Republic of Belgard thanked the MV Ruby Costa and her marines for their valiant work. As part of his new policy of "Irekitsnah" or "Openness" the Belgard Sojournate would enter negotiations with Baraccai Technum:

• to establish a trading factorate there 
• to upgrade the starport from C to B 
• to refurbish the Belgardian Navy
• to act as a sponsor for Belgard's upcoming petition for Imperial Client State status

To that end, the BNV Ximista ("Lightning"), the Belgardian Navy's nicest J-3 Lancer, will be sent to Bantral with introductions from CPT Baker to begin direct negotiations with Mr. Shalkash. 

Payment: In gratitude for their efforts, Belgard has graciously provided the MV Ruby Costa with fresh provisions and some nice gifts for speculative trading. This includes 1D/2 tons of processed radioactives and zuchai crystals, 1D tons of refined titanium sheets, and 2D tons of quality leather. Additionally, they have turned over three political prisoners, former corsairs from the Theev area, to act as workers on the "tanker" operations. You are informed that these three were kept alive because they have useful skills and a helpful attitude, so they should suit your purposes (and could be made into PC's if needed). These include the following: 

Six-Fingers Dong: This tall, lanky man is missing all the fingers on his left hand except his thumb. He managed alright nonetheless. He has a strange affect to his speech, grumbling as he talks, but is otherwise quite agreeable. Dong has the Fringe/Spacer(Crew) profile and is familiar with Blackbird Jack by reputation.

Mylar Preston: This short, muscular man has a cheerful disposition, and seems glad to have a steady position that requires relatively little from him. Based on his tattoos and hairstyle, he is from the underworld of a planet one of the PC's is familiar with (your choice), probably as a leg-breaker or something. Mylar has the Fringe/Corsair profile and is happy to take orders from any PC. 

Zhora Traban: This compact, leanly built woman has dyed blue hair, and says relatively little. She is quiet and tends to say little but is plainly observing everyone and everything. Though not an obvious leader, the other two corsairs seem to take their cues from her. Zhora has the Space Habitat/Rogue profile and is familiar with Blackbird Jack by reputation.
