Cyberpunk 2026 Campaign: Dramatis Personae

The PC's are a gang of Fringers loosely affiliated with one another, connected through Azrael, a local information broker who also puts together teams for heists and gray operations in and around Southowilson.

Player Characters

Laney "Azriel" Matthews (Dixie H) - Laney is a Cascadia-born infobroker/fixer. She runs a legitimate consulting and acquisitions business under her real name. She handles her shadier dealings as Azriel (usually with her hair color changed and using a burner phone). She knows people and loves boys. She is trying to regain her previous wealth after returning to Southowilson.

Severyn “Grind” Devereaux (Clint H): A Nevada nomad by heritage, Severyn is a recent arrival to Southowilson. He is a hardened veteran of the Fourth World War and subsequent brutal conflicts in the Nevada badlands, where constant violence and scarcity shaped his outlook. For years, he lived as a drifting fighter, surviving out of a failing off-road vehicle and moving from one conflict to the next with nothing tying him down. Now, he has come to the city with deliberate intent, seeking to abandon that life and establish a lasting reputation of his own.

Billy "Slipknot" McPherson (Jason S): Slipknot is an American expat from the Federated Republic who lost most of his body in a rocket strike while serving as a mercenary in the Fourth World War, later undergoing full cyborg conversion in exchange for another tour. Now a NorCal citizen, he works as a quiet, capable edgerunner, handling security, tech, and bounty jobs while drawing steady support from ChongIbarra Enhancements, LLC. Built with modest armor, enhanced sensors, and a smartgun link, he keeps a low profile beneath a duster and hood, preferring efficiency over spectacle.

Marcus Vale (John A): Marcus Vale is a former corporate security operative turned fugitive, reshaped by a black-budget gene-splicing program into a lethal wolf-human hybrid he never asked to become. Now operating on the margins, he leverages his enhanced abilities and training to survive as a mercenary while evading the corporation that still considers him stolen property—and quietly managing the biological instability that could unravel him at any time.

Charlie McManus (Jen A): Charlie MacManus is a second-generation American Club operative raised in Chicago’s criminal underworld, trained from childhood as a stealthy thief and information broker who thrives on slipping past security and exploiting human weakness. After a botched cybernetics deal killed her cousin, she fled the organization and now operates in Southowilson as a skilled but wary freelancer, refusing augmentation and carrying the weight—and reminders—of what she left behind.

"Bones" or "Doc" (Sandy K): MedTech, ex-military, Curati from the AFR.

Rooth Liss (Ruth L): ex-Bratva kickmurder assassin, professional escort

Non-Player Characters

Reno Steve - A highly experienced bounty hunter who assisted in the "Hatch Bounty". He usually works the Eighty in the Nevada Free Zone, but can be contacted in New Reno, CA.

Mohammed "Mo" Benida - Machinist, shop owner of a facility in New Benicia. Does some light drugs and guns work, in hock to Omar Diya. Husband of Lacey's friend from back in the day.

Raymond Jacob "RayJay" Carter - Enforcer for the New Benicia Chamber of Commerce, the local AFR outfit. Hates the PC's, as they blew him up and killed his friend Prescott Bronson.

Jimmy Holloway - Chairman of the New Benicia Chamber of Commerce. He was out of town for the caper in New Benicia and seems to have reacted to the bombing with more caution than expected.

Param Deva Omkar - The weird-yet-charismatic ascetic leader of the Akhara Cult, a religious sect based in New Benicia. He provided some minor assistance to the PC's, and invited them back to the Akhara Compound in the future.

Nyx Calder - Goth receptionist, guard, and office manager of the Zone Klamath black clinic. She was taken down early and somehow survived the raid, and is still out there somewhere.

Doctor Adrian Yen - The mad scientist who owned the Klamath black clinic/Delta Inevitable cell. He is known only by reputation as a skilled ripperdoc/cyber guy. The PC's apparently did not encounter him.

Ozymandyr, Lord of the Shades -  Mid-tier member of Erebos Pulse, Ruth Liss vaguely remembers him being present outside the Klamath black clinic. Based on his behavior at the club, it is likely he recognized you somehow, or otherwise connected the dots. The Street hides no secrets from Erebos Pulse.
