Trojan Trade War - Dramatis Personae

This is a list of the Player Characters (PC's) and significant Non-Player Characters (NPC) for the "Trojan Trade War" campaign. As players provide information, I will add it to their writeups. Check back frequently!

The PC’s were all hired by agents of a major trading corporation, Baraccai Technum, to serve on a privateer for several months or longer. The mission will take the PC well beyond Imperial borders, and be fairly risky. The PC was lured with the promise of a sizable monthly salary paid into an account with Hortalez et Cie LTC (known as utterly reliable) plus bonuses aplenty. The downside is that the PC will be frozen into a low berth and transported anonymously out to the launch-off point for the start of the cruise. This will minimize the chances of any inadvertent intelligence leaks happening. We will actually start play with everyone being thawed out and debriefed.

Captain Yuri Baker (Jason S.) - Captain, Human male from Trin/Trin's Veil. Ex-Imperial Navy, ex-Free Trader, a legacy employee of Baraccai Technum. He has a reputation as a solid spacer, notably well-read in a variety of technical fields.

Bonnie Greson (Dixie H.) - Pilot, Human female from Mora. Background in the underworld led her to space as a freighter pilot on both sides of the law. She still has lots of criminal connections around the Spinward Marches.

Lieutenant (ret.) Korey Crider (Scott M.) - Sensors and Comms, Male human from Harvosette/Lunion. Ex-Imperial Navy, skilled sensor and EW operator with a background in system defense boats (SDB's). Known as an avid gambler.

Kai Kristiansen (Clint H.) - Drive Engineer, Human female from Glisten Belt. Ex-salvager, ex-Scout, now an engineer on various freighters. Her varied experiences give her a spacer skill set that is broad but not especially deep; this makes her versatile in the unorthodox situations the crew will likely be in.

Dr. Anton Hompson (Sean S.) - Human male, Powerplant and Secondaries Engineer. Originally a researcher in energy technologies, Hompson changed careers at the height of his success to experience the larger universe.

Dr. Furia Menilaya (Ruth L.) - Human female, brilliant but unhinged scientist turned ship's doctor. Originally from Regina but has moved around a lot.

Rahim Llywelyn (NPC) - Gunner, Bridge Tech, ex-Navy, from Deneb.

Jenira Medved (Cortney D.) - Gunner, Medical Asst., ex-Scout from Aramanx, known among Scouts for being over a hundred years old chronologically, thanks to low berthing after a misjump.

Davorka Zupančič (NPC) - Gunner, Engineering Asst., ex-Navy from Glisten

Lieutenant (ret.) Jula Enkin (Dixie H.) - Troop Leader, Human female from the Spinward Marches. She was career Imperial Army infantry until being severely wounded. She tried a new career as a Scout Explorer, but was a poor fit for their unstructured ways. Now a loyal Baraccai security specialist and troop leader.

Avig "Old Man" Wardams (Sean S.) Human male, asst. troop leader; former Imperial Army NCO with a troubled service history, left the service but continued in the trade. "Old Man" Wardams thought this would be a simple assignment.

Corporal (ret.) Kakii Gamlupashd (Jason S.) - Vargr male from the Thoengling Empire. Former "Imperial Marine-equivalent" with an odd academic background (Humaniti Studies). Came to the Imperium on a military exchange, stayed on with Baraccai Technum after his military career ended.

Blackbird Jack (Clint H. ) - Human male of unknown origin, possibly Sword Worlder based on accent and obsession with weaponry. Widely traveled hired gun, corsair, and bounty hunter from across the Spinward Marches. Hired despite his erratic behavior due to his expertise on the subject of pirates, Jack travels with several large loadout containers full of armament.

Jan Van Alst (Scott McK) - Human male, trooper. TL1 barbarian who got offworld and served in the Imperial Army for a few terms. Useful outdoor skills.

Yash Londolfi (NPC) - Human male, trooper. Former Imperial Marine who left the service after his unit was destroyed in battle with Zho Consular Guards.

Paora Smets (Cortney D.) - Human female, trooper. Hiveworlder thug who joined the Imperial Army to get offworld, turned out to be good at it.

Hristi Sala (NPC) - Human male, trooper. Ex-planetary military (TL6-9), joined BT to see the universe. Prankster.

Avzel Shalkash (NPC) -  A director of operations for BT, Mr. Shalkash is responsible for the corporate end of the Q-Ship’s operations. Any expenses will ultimately have to be approved by him.
